Full Cuppers had a strange year, started with a siege and a crisis, hit by suicide picnics in Amman and other cities, half the new born girls were named Nour, and all college notebooks had Muhannad's face (Yo2borni)! A pop king died, a Lady went Gaga, and Lexus Hybrids became the new Kia Sephia!

We lost loved ones for fate or travel, some of us had to go abroad to seek new opportunities, while others unexpectedly came back. We had doubts, anger, fear, joy, and a lot of caffeine!

Through all the madness in 2009, Full Cup had you covered; we supported – and still support - Gaza relief efforts, we partnered with feel good music providers Sunny 102.5, we sponsored college students through discount coupons, and provided a great atmosphere for work and study with ambient music and free WiFi by Zain.

Full Cup introduced healthy yummy sandwiches and salads, and presented late night coffee lovers with a decaf option. We chilled your summers with rich recipes like the snickers special and the cheese cake cooler.

Through it all, we had you, our precious Full Cupper, in our mind, We tried to give you a constant in these changing times, a place you can count on to give you a boost for your day. We talked about a lot of things, especially how we do our best to give our customers a relaxed atmosphere, and how feel good music is a huge part of that. Some of our lucky customers even had a chance to be heard on the Sunny 105.1 radio station when Greg recorded their sound bites!

Full Cup Participates in Gaza Food/Clothes Drive

Full Cup delivered a package of clothes to the Gaza Food/Clothes drive initiative which was orchestrated by the 7iber.com action committee. We also delivered hot flavored coffee to the brave people of the committee to help boost there activity while working on the huge effort.

We were all proud to see how Jordanians came together in huge numbers to send all sorts of needed aid to our brothers in Gaza. Full Cup would also want to recognize the role of the Hashemite Charity Commission in this crucial campaign for being the official Jordanian entity responsible for delivering aid to Gaza.

In the first picture you see Ali Al-Ja'fari from Full Cup (left) handing out coffee trays to Ramsey Tesdell from the Action Committee of 7iber.com to help boost caffeine level of the volunteers.

In the second you can see members of the 7iber.com action committe loading the Aramex trucks with relief aid.

In association with the action committee of 7iber.com, and through the blessed work of the Hashemite Charity Commission, Full Cup announces that we are putting away a part of our daily revenue for the Gaza relief effort. This will be provided through a daily donation to the bank account of the Commission.

Where does White Chocolate come from?

Full Cup introduces two new recipes for this winter, come try out our white chocolate heavenly drinks: Hot White Chocolate, and White Chocolate Moccachino.

This is not the first time that we are using this heavenly ingredient; we are using white chocolate as chunks in our delicious home made brownies, and our dark and white chocolate special sprinkle.

But where does white chocolate come from? It is mainly composed of cocoa butter and milk. The cocoa butter itself is produced by grinding cocoa beans then submitting pressure to separate the cocoa butter from the cocoa solids. Cocoa solids are then evaporated to produce cocoa powder.

Hello Full Cup Nation! It's been four months since our soft launch party, and Full Cup Coffee Place keeps introducing cool stuff for you to ensure a better experience each time you walk through our door!

In terms of our menu, we have perfected the Hot Chocolate recipe and now we offer it with optional Marshmallow topping. We have introduced an assorted tea and herbal collection courtesy of Twining's - London, and we are working on introducing more original delicious hot drink recipes in preparation for the winter.

On the other hand, in addition to adding new stools downstairs, we have opened the upstairs lounge area with seats and BEAN BAGS, and made a deal with our good friends at Aramex Media to put a magazine stand with periodic updates on their best selling magazines.

Furthermore, ZAIN Jordan was so impressed by our little shop and our sophisticated clients that they gave us full sponsorship for internet connectivity to replace our current connection! the new ZAIN connection should be up and running within this week.

There are other cool stuff going on and a major event being prepared, but we'll inform you about those in our next communication.

This month we have adopted Christina Aguilera's new hit song title "Keeps Getting Better" as out motto, come to our shop in Amman at the Fifth Circle & check out what all the fuss is about ;)

We had a lovely weekend at Full Cup with a nice visit from Greg who hosts the morning show on the new radio station sunny 105.1. He brought his friend Michelle along and we talked over a couple of caramel frappés about everything from rude Arabic words to incidents with Taxis. We recorded a nice sound bite to be played on the air on Sunday, so please stay tuned to Sunny 105.1 to hear our small sound bite :)
